BANDARLAMPUNG – Rektor Universitas Lampung (Unila) Prof. Dr. Ir. Lusmeilia Afriani, D.E.A., IPM., ASEAN Eng., resmi membuka Festival Kebudayaan dan Cinta Tanah Air di Gedung Serbaguna (GSG) Unila, pada Kamis, 16 Januari 2025.
Acara ini merupakan bagian dari program Be Strong Universitas Lampung, yang dirancang untuk mendukung visi Unila menjadi world class university.
Turut hadir Direktur Sejarah dan Permuseuman Direktorat Jenderal Perlindungan Kebudayaan dan Tradisi, Prof. Dr. Agus Mulyana, M.Hum., Pj. Gubernur Lampung Dr. Drs. Samsudin, S.H., M.H., M.Pd., jajaran wakil rektor, para dekan, para tamu undangan, dan sivitas akademika Unila.
Dengan mengusung tema “Menguatkan Identitas Bangsa Melalui Kebudayaan di Era Globalisasi,” festival ini tak hanya menjadi ajang perayaan seni dan budaya, tetapi juga upaya nyata untuk meningkatkan kesadaran, kebanggaan, dan kontribusi generasi muda dalam pelestarian budaya Indonesia.
Prof. Lusmeilia Afriani dalam sambutannya menyampaikan dukungan terhadap pelestarian budaya lokal melalui integrasi dalam kurikulum pendidikan tinggi maupun penelitian kebudayaan yang berkelanjutan.
“Sebagai Rektor Unila, saya sangat mendukung dialog yang mempertemukan akademisi, seniman, tokoh budaya, dan generasi muda ini. Unila berkomitmen untuk menjadi pusat pengembangan dan pelestarian budaya lokal, baik melalui integrasi dalam kurikulum pendidikan tinggi maupun penelitian kebudayaan yang berkelanjutan,” ujarnya.
Selanjutnya, Prof. Dr. Agus Mulyana, M.Hum., dalam paparan materinya tentang Kebudayaan dan Cinta Tanah Air menegaskan, negara Indonesia dibentuk oleh lebih dari satu identitas kebudayaan yang selanjutnya menjadi dasar nilai-nilai nasionalisme.
Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan pemberian 62 anugerah kepada instansi mitra, dosen, mahasiswa, lembaga, dan fakultas berprestasi di Unila. Penghargaan ini diberikan sebagai apresiasi atas raihan prestasi gemilang yang dihasilkan untuk Unila sepanjang tahun 2024.
Inti acara diisi dengan dialog kebudayaan yang membahas tentang eksistensi budaya Indonesia, langkah-langkah yang harus dilakukan untuk memperkuat kecintaan mahasiswa generasi saat ini terhadap budaya, serta cara menjadi penggiat budaya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
Dialog ini menghadirkan tiga narasumber utama yaitu, Nasarius Ardhani Sudaryono (Aktor & Animator Komunitas Budaya), Sri Krishna Encik (Musisi/Seniman), M. Yusuf Erdiansyah Putra, S.Kom. (Gelar Gusti Pangeran Igamaratu). Ketiga narasumber memberikan wawasan dan inspirasi tentang pentingnya pelestarian budaya di tengah tantangan era globalisasi.
Melalui kegiatan dialog kebudayaan, pameran seni, dan hiburan yang memadukan seni tradisional dan modern, diharapkan tercipta ruang untuk berdiskusi, belajar, dan berkontribusi dalam melestarikan budaya Indonesia.
